● Research interest:
We seek to understand the neural computations underlying flexible perception and cognition. Our research lies at the intersection of systems, computational, and cognitive neuroscience. In particular, we are interested in understanding how visual sensory information is represented and propagated in the mammalian brain. Our approach combines large-scale in vivo electrophysiology, closed-loop brain-machine interface (BMI), machine learning, neural network modeling and quantitative (online) human psychophysics.
